This is a launch party for a compilation that is being released on Angular Records on March 22nd. It is called ‘Cold Waves and Minimal Electronics Vol.1’.

Two years in the making, this compilation is a dancefloor artefact of the lost genres of Coldwave, Synthwave and Minimal Wave. It has been compiled by Pieter Schoolwerth (Wierd) and Joe Daniel (Angular).

The night is to be held in conjunction with Mannequin, Amboss, Paconazim, Rocketto, Tape Psycho and Stakanovismo and features the first italian debut performance from French synthwave trio Frank (Just Frank), supported by the amazing Italian post punk trio Soviet Soviet; Mannequin will release a 12" Split EP between the 2 bands in May 2010 (MNQ012).
